G E Shipping To Sell Kamsarmax Vessel In Q4 FY26
Following the sale of Jag Aarati, the company’s owned fleet will comprise 40 vessels, including 26 tankers—six crude oil tankers, 16 product tankers and four LPG carriers—and 14 dry bulk carriers. The dry bulk fleet consists of two Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax and two Supramax vessels, with the total fleet aggregating around 3.32 million deadweight tonnes.
Separately, the company has also contracted to sell one Suezmax crude oil tanker, with the transaction expected to be completed in the third quarter of FY26. In addition, it has agreed to acquire one second-hand Ultramax dry bulk carrier, which is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of FY26.
The transactions form part of G E Shipping’s ongoing fleet optimisation strategy, aimed at balancing asset sales and acquisitions in line with market conditions and long-term operational priorities.
