AVG Logistics Secures Five Year Contract For 30 EV Trucks
The arrangement includes the establishment, operation and maintenance of on-site EV charging infrastructure to enable zero-emission supply chains in the cement sector. Operations will be supported by GPS monitoring and digital automation tracking to maintain safety and transit timelines and to deliver high fleet utilisation. The logistics will be integrated with the company's wider network, leveraging its 3000-plus fleet and 856,369 sq ft of warehousing to optimise turnarounds and reduce dwell time.
The contract size is approximately Rs 180 million (mn) per annum and is expected to provide recurring revenue and improved operating margins through scale and infrastructure integration. In financial year 2025 the company reported revenue of Rs 5.5152 billion (bn), EBITDA of Rs 955.7 million (mn) and profit before tax of Rs 263.3 million (mn), reflecting its capacity to handle large industrial contracts. Management expects high fleet utilisation under the multi-year framework to support stable cash flows and potential margin expansion as on-site EV infrastructure matures.
AVG Logistics, founded in 2010, operates a modern multimodal fleet and offers third-party logistics services across road and rail transportation, cold chain and warehousing with over 70 fully automated branches pan India and a workforce exceeding 600 personnel.
