Tiger Logistics Wins One Year Import Mandate From BNPMIL
Under the mandate, Tiger Logistics will manage freight forwarding by air and sea, customs clearance and inland transportation to the Mysuru plant for import consignments arriving through Bangalore Airport, Chennai Seaport and Bangalore ICD. Shipments will originate from several countries including Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Italy and Singapore. Operations will coordinate cross border movements and domestic delivery to meet BNPMIL's production timelines.
The company's chairman and managing director said the renewal signalled trust in operational capabilities and the need for precision, reliability and robust compliance in managing complex import movements. He added that the company remained committed to creating sustained value for stakeholders through consistent execution and long term client partnerships. Management noted that servicing multiple global origins requires integrated freight solutions and strong domestic coordination.
Tiger Logistics is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange and offers freight forwarding, defence and project logistics, transportation and customs clearance services. The company launched its proprietary freight booking and management platform FreightJar in 2023 to provide SMEs and MSMEs with access to competitive freight rates and a seamless booking journey. With an asset light model and a global partner network, Tiger Logistics draws on over 25 years of experience across automotive, renewable energy, engineering goods, textiles, pharmaceutical, building materials, defence and FMCG sectors.
The one year engagement will be executed under established compliance frameworks and aims to streamline inward logistics for BNPMIL's Mysuru operations. The company emphasised its role as a logistics partner rather than a vendor by offering tailored end to end solutions and cost innovation.
