The municipal authorities have already awarded tenders for road construction, culverts, and drainage projects worth approximately Rs 10 million. The repair work includes addressing 15 paved roads, 10 culverts, and drainage systems in the city.

In the next phase, the municipality has initiated the tendering process for road and drainage projects valued at around Rs 6 million. Additionally, the municipality plans to restore several pocket roads in the city, with an estimated cost of Rs 5 million, before the Puja festival.

Many city roads deteriorated due to heavy rains, creating hazardous conditions and impassable routes.
