Manufacturer of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning Blue Star said that it has received business orders from Water Projects for Rs 3.75 billion.
The Department of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS), Government of Odisha, has granted the business three orders for the provision of rural water, the company said in a regulatory filing.
According to Blue Star, all of the orders have a 24-month completion window and include the following: field investigation and total station survey; soil investigation; hydraulic and structural design; procurement, construction, and erection of electro-mechanical equipment; testing and commissioning; and operation and maintenance.
The project is in accordance with the government's plan for supplying water to rural areas under the "Jal Jeevan Mission." According to the plan, water would be available to every rural family, or "Har Ghar Jal," by 2024.
