The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project is still undergoing. The Railway Ministry said that contracts for track work worth Rs 3,141 crore had been granted.

According to the media sources, 100% of contracts for civil and track work have been placed in Gujarat.

The Railway Ministry has announced that several building projects, including foundation and pier work, as well as other infrastructural projects, are now underway throughout Gujarat's Narmada, Sabarmati, Mahi, Tapi, and other rivers.

The 1.2 km long Narmada River bridge now under construction in Bharuch will be the longest bridge on the 508 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.

As part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project, 20 bridges will be built across several rivers in Gujarat, including the Narmada, Daroatha, Mahi, Par, Kaveri, Sabarmati, Purna Ambika, Kolak, Daman Ganga, Kharera, Dhadhar, Anuraga, Mindhola, Vishwamitri, Tapi, Meshwa, Kim, Vatrak, and Mohar.

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), which is building the country's first bullet train, revealed that it will use the Full Span Launching Method (FSLM) to speed up the construction of the Mumbai - Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail bridge.

The Full Span Precast Box Girders are handled by a straddle carrier, according to NHSRCL. Straddle Carrier raises the girder of the casting bed and carries it to the next location after the casting.

In a recent meeting, Darshana Jardosh, Union Minister of State for Railways, praised Gujarat Chief Bhupendra Patel for completing 98.7% of the land acquisition work for the MAHSR project in Gujarat with the help of the revenue department.
