The company's redesigned Bluelight LED cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining system is designed for laterals and small sewer pipes with diameters ranging from 3 to 10 inches.
The redesign includes a new 3-inch light head, an intuitive touchscreen interface, interchangeable reels in 131 and 164-foot lengths, and a lightweight ergonomic frame for easier manoeuvrability and portability.
The company's Bluelight technology employs a specially formulated single-part resin that cures under blue wavelength light, allowing installers to work for significantly longer periods of time between wet-out and curing. The automated curing system pulls the LED light head through the liner once installed, curing the resin at a rate of up to 5.4 feet per minute.
Bluelight systems, both original and redesigned, can navigate and repair 45- and 90-degree bends, as well as some transitions. The Bluelight system resin is styrene-free and free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and it meets or exceeds ASTM F1216.
