We will also focus on engineering to cater to design requirements faster

Technocraft Industries (India) launched the MACH ONE formwork system, another addition to its MACH range of scaffolding and formwork systems. Mudit Raniwala, Senior Vice President, shares more…

One pathbreaking offering: We have been exporting for the past three decades, owing to which we know what quality is demanded in the international market. We cater to quality-conscious markets, which is what has been lagging in India. On the technological front, we are the only company whose complete welding for steel and aluminium products is certified as per German EN standards.

Announcement contributing to the company’s growth in 2018: The turning point for the company was the MACH formwork system launched in end 2016. Within two years, the company grew by almost 150 per cent of what we were doing before 2016.

Challenge in 2019: Challenge is more to do with regular vendor supplies. For instance, aluminium extrusions are the main raw material that would be required and there are not many vendors who can give the kind of quality and sizes required for these kind of products.

Key strategy to success in 2019: We will focus on the new product we are launching. While, to date, we have been catering to contractors in India, our new launch is for builders as well. We will also focus on engineering, wherein, we will be able to cater to design requirements faster than what is available in the current market.

Recommendation for growth of the construction equipment market: India requires standards and laws to be enforced on safety. If a law is enforced on safety practices, it will automatically have a positive impact on the growth of organised players.
