New Chief

Amit Banerjee has taken charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of BEML, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, he has a vast experience of over 37 years in R&D and manufacturing functions. Prior to assuming the present position, Banerjee was Director (Rail & Metro) at the company. In his new role, Banerjee aims to achieve the company’s goal towards self-reliance and take it to greater heights. We wish him luck!
