The Punjab State Power Corporation has released an empanelment tender for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, manufacturers, and system integrators to install and commission 50 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in the state. The capacity will vary from 1 kW to 500 kW and will be installed in residential premises, residential welfare associations, and group housing societies. The successful bidder will also have to provide comprehensive maintenance for five years. The last date to submit bids is January 4, 2021, and the opening of bids will take place on January 7. Bidders will have to submit an amount of Rs.50,000 ($678.31) as the earnest money deposit. The tentative allocation of 50 MW will be distributed among all eligible bidders in all capacity range.
