AIIB to approve US$ 3 bn loans

AIIB to approve US$ 3 bn loans Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is looking to provide loans worth $3 bn for various large infra projects in India, including Delhi Meerut Rapid Rail, Mumbai Metro Rail and Chennai Peripheral Ring Road project, over the next 12 months. Other projects being considered for AIIB financing include Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor ($500 mn), Haryana Bypass Link Railway ($400 mn), Mumbai Metro Line V ($350 mn) and Mumbai Urban Transport Project ($500 mn).
