Food Processing Projects worth Rs.2346.8 mn approved

IMAC approved the proposals it received under the Scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro- Processing Cluster (APC) of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. Seven proposals were approved with total project cost of Rs.2346.8 mn including grants-in-aid of Rs.608.7 mn in the States of Meghalaya, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. These projects will leverage private investment of Rs.1738.1 mn and are expected to generate employment for 7,750 persons.
