Corporation to prepare detailed drainage plan for Kochi

To solve waterlogging issues, Kochi Corporation has decided to bring in a detailed drainage plan for the city. The corporation also decided to use the fund for flood mitigation only based on scientific studies. A council meeting was also conducted to solve the waterlogging issues based on the study report prepared by Esteem Developers. Reportedly Cochin Smart Mission (CSML) has allotted Rs.100 mn for carrying out work for containing waterlogging in the city.
