Rs.385 mn sanctioned for Patna Smart City projects

Bihar’s Urban Development and Housing Department has approved several Patna Smart City projects, including construction of a cafeteria, ‘happy street’, foot-over-bridges, beautification of SK Memorial Hall and infrastructure development at schools. The board of governance of Patna Smart City has sanctioned `385 mn for completing these projects. A cafeteria and multilevel parking will come up at `100 mn, while the ‘happy street’ project will cost `70 mn. Several schemes have now been dropped from the Smart City Project, which include water supply projects, a rooftop farming project of `225 mn and e-rickshaw project worth `80 mn.
