Halwara International Airport tender likely to be floated soon

The Airports Authorities of India (AAI) is likely to float a tender for the Halwara International Airport for its terminal block in a few days. According to the Public Works Department (PWD) estimates, constructing a temporary Portacabin will cost nearly Rs.200-250 mn. The authority has already invited bids for the internal roads, apron and regular parking lot. PWD has confirmed that the project work is yet to be awarded to an agency, which will be given after getting government approval.
