Imagine Panaji Smart City Development (IPSCDL) has decided to push ahead with the Goa Intelligent City Management System (GICMS). The Rs.1.8 bn project is likely to be completed by November 30, and it will go live by December 13.
The Smart City Thiruvananthapuram (SCTL) is planning to beautify public spaces in the city. As per an official of SCTL, the Smart City Mission will allot Rs.10,000 to each ward under the corporation and the ward councillorswill identify the locations where waste dumping is rampant to beautify the place.

Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonwal told the media that the government has plans to fulfill 60 per cent of power demand at major ports through solar and wind energy.
Coal India JV Coal Lignite Urja Vikas, and National Lignite Corporation (NLC), have invited bids to install a 40-MW ground-mounted, grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project for South Eastern Coalfields (SECL) at Bishrampur and Bhatgaon in Surajpur District, Chhattisgarh.
Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments (REIL) has issued a request for proposals for 5,000 polycrystalline solar modules with 330 W and 335 W of power each. A total of 72 solar cells must be used to construct the modules.
