IRSDC to redevelop Mumbai's Andheri railway station

Mumbai's Andheri station is being redeveloped by the Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation (IRSDC) as part of its drive to develop railway stations across the country. IRSDC will redevelop the station in a phased manner. The total area of redevelopment is 
4.31 acre, out of which 2.1 acre is for Phase-1 construction and the rest is for the Phase-2 construction. Rs.2.18 bn is the project cost for phase Phase-1 redevelopment. 

The redevelopment is expected to provide world-class amenities to passengers and enhance the travel experience at one of the busiest railway station.
