Jewar International Airport master plan gets government nod

Zurich Airport International AG’s 100 per cent subsidiary Yamuna International Airport (YIAPL) has been incorporated as a SPV to develop the greenfield Noida International Airport (NIA). The master plan’s approval took place in collaboration with Landrum and Brown and Zurich Airport International. It was acquired from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Noida International Airport (NIAL), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and additional significant environmental authorities. The master plan outlines the strategic direction for the NIA development from the opening day, expected in FY2024-25, to the end of the 40-year authorisation period.
