Land acquisition for Jewar airport complete

In a leg-up to the work on Noida International Airport, coming up in Jewar, 100 per cent land acquisition for the project has been completed. The airport will come up over a sprawling 1,334 ha of land.

Uttar Pradesh’s Minister for Industries and Infrastructure Development, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, confirmed that the land acquisition work is complete and the testing of the airport would begin in March 2024 while it would be ready for use by October 2024.

The land acquired has been handed over to Zurich Airport International AG.
