Samsung has announced the deployment of its next-generation residential climate solutions, combining WindFree cooling, PM1.0 air purification, SmartThings connectivity and AI-enabled Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology to address the evolving requirements of premium residential developments in India.

The integrated ecosystem has been designed to address key urban challenges such as rising temperatures, deteriorating indoor air quality, connected living requirements and energy efficiency. According to Samsung, the solutions have been specifically optimised for Indian conditions and are aimed at creating healthier and smarter residential environments.

The deployment integrates WindFree air conditioning technology with PM1.0 purification, Wi-Fi-enabled SmartThings connectivity and AI-enabled VRF systems at scale. Samsung said the technology has already been deployed at Central Park Flower Valley's The Orchard in Gurugram, one of the country's premium residential developments.

Samsung's WindFree technology distributes cool air through micro air holes to create a low-air-speed environment, reducing direct cold drafts while maintaining thermal comfort. The company said the solution is particularly suited for prolonged usage in residential environments.

To address indoor air quality concerns, the system incorporates optional PM1.0 purification panels featuring a two-stage filtration mechanism capable of capturing ultrafine dust particles and improving indoor air conditions. SmartThings connectivity enables users to remotely monitor and control air-conditioning systems, automate cooling functions and track energy usage through smartphone-based applications.

The integrated solution is powered by Samsung's DVM S2 VRF outdoor units equipped with AI-based optimisation technologies. Features such as Active AI Pressure Control and Active AI Refrigerant Analysis are designed to improve operational efficiency, optimise cooling performance and enhance system reliability.

At Central Park Flower Valley's The Orchard in Gurugram, Samsung's integrated climate technologies have been deployed across 284 luxury residences with a total installed capacity of 4,864 HP. The company said the project demonstrates how intelligent climate management, connected living and wellness-focused technologies can be integrated within large-scale residential developments.

Samsung stated that the deployment represents a blueprint for future-ready residential infrastructure, where energy efficiency, occupant comfort and smart technologies converge to create healthier living environments.
