Temple Town brings artisanal detailing into bathroom design

Temple Town is bringing traditional Indian materials and artisanal detailing into bathroom interiors, combining carved stone, old timber, patterned tiles, worked metal and decorative lighting.
Hand-carved stone basins retain the natural irregularity of the material, with chiselled exteriors paired with polished counters and teak vanities. White vessel basins are combined with substantial wooden cabinetry, creating a warm contrast with grey stone surfaces.
Patterned flooring and walls add visual interest, with black-and-white geometric tiles and narrow stripes used to define different spaces. Glass shower enclosures with black metal frameworks incorporate botanical illustrations, while ribbed glass provides privacy without fully enclosing the space.
Decorative elements include gilded mirrors, suspended glass lights and crystal chandeliers, alongside exposed timber ceiling beams. In more understated bathrooms, oval or timber-framed mirrors and simple wall lights keep the focus on stone and wood.
Temple Town said its approach integrates heritage craft into surfaces, joinery and objects rather than using it solely as decorative detailing. The combination of stone, timber and pattern is intended to give each bathroom an individual character.
