BigBloc Construction has received a domestic purchase order worth Rs 22.1 million from Larsen & Toubro for the supply of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks. The order is scheduled to be executed over a period of six to nine months and strengthens BigBloc’s presence in large infrastructure and construction projects.
The company said the order reflects growing demand for AAC blocks in major developments and reinforces its positioning among leading construction players. BigBloc markets its products under the NXTBLOC brand and is among the few AAC manufacturers in India generating carbon credits, underlining its focus on sustainable construction.
BigBloc has completed over 2,000 projects and currently has more than 1,500 underway. Its client base includes several prominent developers and infrastructure companies across the country.
Incorporated in 2015, BigBloc is one of the largest and the only listed AAC block manufacturers in India, with an installed annual capacity of 1.3 million cubic metres across plants in Gujarat and Maharashtra. The company has also acquired land in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to set up what it describes as India’s largest greenfield AAC blocks manufacturing facility.
Financially, BigBloc reported a 30.3 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue for Q2 FY26 to Rs 673.2 million, compared to Rs 516.5 million in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, consolidated revenue rose 19.8 per cent to Rs 1.2367 billion, up from Rs 1.0322 billion in the corresponding period last year.
