Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy will inaugurate the Ministry of Mines Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, being held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The pavilion will highlight India’s mineral wealth, technological advancements and the mining sector’s role in building a Viksit Bharat.

Spread across 1,500 sq metres, the pavilion will showcase thematic exhibits, interactive activities and displays reflecting the achievements and future vision of India’s mining and mineral ecosystem. Central Public Sector Enterprises and associated organisations under the Ministry—including NALCO, Hindustan Copper, the Geological Survey of India, MECL, JNARDDC and NIRM—will be part of the extensive showcase.

A dedicated thematic zone on the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) will present innovations led by the Non-Ferrous Technology Development Centre, focusing on exploration, processing and utilisation of strategic minerals vital for clean energy and industrial growth.

Private sector leaders will also feature prominently. Hindalco will display models of the Vande Bharat Express and Chandrayaan-3, emphasising the role of metals in national progress, while Hindustan Zinc will highlight advancements in sustainable mining. Exhibits by District Mineral Foundations and Self-Help Groups will present community development initiatives supported by mining-sector CSR.

Visitors will also experience VR-based mining environments, digital exploration technologies, student quizzes and displays centred on sustainability and next-generation mineral solutions. The pavilion underscores the Ministry’s commitment to responsible mining, innovation and inclusive growth, supporting India’s journey towards minerals self-reliance and Viksit Bharat @2047.
