MOIL reports 10% increase in production in February'23
The company is fully prepared for much higher production levels in the upcoming months.
The Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has administrative control over MOIL, a Schedule-A, Mini-ratna Category-I CPSE. With 45% of the domestic production going to MOIL, it is the largest producer of manganese ore in the nation. Eleven mines are run by it in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. By 2030, the company wants to more than double its production to 3 million tonnes. Along with other regions of the State of Madhya Pradesh, MOIL is also looking into business opportunities in the States of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.
