Pace Digitek Secures Rs 929.3 mn Order From Kalpa Power

Pace Digitek has secured a Rs 929.3 million (Rs 929.3 mn) work order from Kalpa Power for the supply and commissioning support of a 100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The order has been awarded to Pace Digitek’s material subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited and is scheduled for completion by 31 December 2026. The contract adds another utility scale storage project to the company’s growing BESS business.

The contract follows a memorandum of understanding signed in July 2026 between Kalpa Power and Lineage Power for the supply of 100 MWh of BESS capacity intended to support WATTBANK deployments for commercial and industrial customers across rooftop solar, open access and hybrid renewable energy projects. Kalpa Power is expanding its battery storage portfolio and is targeting 500 MWh of deployments by 2028, while Lineage Power will provide on site commissioning support and related services under the award.

Pace Digitek has scaled up its manufacturing operations and reported BESS manufacturing capacity of five GWh, having executed 975 MWh of utility scale BESS capacity by the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. The company also indicated 5,100 MWh of executable order visibility across its BESS business and remains on track to double manufacturing capacity to 10 GWh by the end of the year as it prepares to enter battery cell manufacturing within the next two years.

The firm’s executable order book amounts to around Rs 108 bn and management expressed confidence in achieving fiscal year 2027 revenue guidance in a range of Rs 32-34 bn. Pace Digitek has been developing capabilities across the BESS value chain, covering manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction, build own operate projects, power conversion systems and energy management systems, which supports its push into larger utility scale deployments.
