SANY JP100 Sets Guinness World Record for Tallest Firefighting Water Jet

SANY Group announced that its Aerial Water Jet Fire Truck JP100 has set a Guinness World Record™ for “The Highest Water Jet from a Fire Truck (Prototype)” with a maximum height of 159.66 meters. The record was certified at the 21st China International Fire Protection Equipment Technology Conference & Exposition.

The JP100 is the world’s first 5-axle Aerial Water Jet Fire Truck with a 100-meter boom. Its innovative design includes six telescopic and three folding boom sections, high- and low-pressure multi-stage centrifugal pumps delivering 50 L/s flow, and an integrated remote-control system that allows a single operator to manage all firefighting functions.

Lightweight at 54 tons with a 23.7-meter turning diameter, the JP100 offers superior maneuverability for high-rise firefighting. Its flexible articulated boom enables operations across obstacles and behind buildings up to 20–30 stories.

This achievement underscores SANY’s commitment to innovation in emergency rescue equipment, with sustained R&D investment and initiatives to advance technology for urban firefighting challenges globally.
