Mumbai housing authority lottery covers 2,640 flats

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s lottery for 2,640 residential flats across Mumbai received 75,366 applications. The inventory includes newly constructed homes, flats received from developers and unsold units from earlier schemes, spread across Vikhroli, Goregaon, Borivali, Chembur, Bandra and Ghatkopar. The allocation covers all income groups, while prices for 1,221 under-construction flats at Kannamwar Nagar were reduced by 7.5 per cent. The draw will determine successful applicants for the available homes across Mumbai.
