Bathinda floats tender for Rs.370 million green civic headquarters

Bathinda Municipal Corporation has floated tenders for a ₹370 million, six-storey civic headquarters near Rose Garden, planned as a solar-powered and zero-waste public building. The complex will cover about 90,000 sq ft on a 5,000-square-yard site and provide parking for 168 cars. Plans include a 120 kW solar system, geothermal cooling, terrace gardens, insulated building elements, natural ventilation, wastewater recycling, composting and dual plumbing. The project is being designed to target a five-star green-building rating.
