Adani Cement And Naredco Partner To Back Sustainable Construction

Adani Cement has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) to support India’s expanding construction requirements with an emphasis on sustainability, workforce capability and modern building technologies. The tie-up will combine Adani Cement's building materials portfolio, research and technical expertise with Naredco's role as an apex industry body. The collaboration is intended to strengthen quality and sustainability across housing, commercial and infrastructure projects.

The partnership will leverage Naredco's nationwide network of more than 15,000 member organisations representing developers and allied stakeholders and will draw on Adani Cement's research and development strengths. Under the agreement, the organisations will roll out skill development and certification programmes for masons, contractors and site supervisors. Training will be designed to emphasise contemporary construction techniques, safety practices and quality standards aimed at improving project execution and on-site efficiency.

The alliance will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing and technology exchange, facilitating access to advanced concrete solutions, innovative construction practices and modern materials. The companies indicated that integrated building solutions, including ready-mix concrete offerings, will be explored while supporting initiatives linked to affordable and inclusive housing. The effort is intended to enhance structural durability, execution quality and environmental responsibility across projects.

Senior leaders noted that the association underscores the need for responsible construction practices as urbanisation accelerates and highlighted the role of green cement and low-carbon technologies in promoting environmentally sustainable development. The partnership is expected to encourage wider adoption of green building norms and foster collaboration within the real estate and construction ecosystem. Progress will be pursued through regular engagements in rapidly urbanising cities and emerging growth centres and assessed against improvements in efficiency and sustainability. Naredco was established under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and functions in policy advocacy and sectoral reform.
