Ameenji Rubber Secures Rs 29.06 mn Order From SECR

Ameenji Rubber Limited (the company) notified the stock exchange that it has received a purchase order from the Office of the Principal Chief Materials Manager, South East Central Railway (SECR), for the manufacture and supply of reinforced grooved rubber pads. The disclosure was submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with Schedule III and the applicable SEBI circulars. An annexure accompanying the filing set out the particulars required by the listing rules. The filing included the BSE scrip code and signatory details provided by the managing director.

The total value of the order is Rs 29,056,320, which is stated in the filing as Rupees two crore 90 lakh 56 thousand 320 only. Under the conversion to international units this amount is equivalent to about Rs 29.06 million (mn). The company gave a timeframe for execution and provided the compliance information specified by the regulator in the annexure.

The purchase order specifies a time period for execution of four months from the date of the order. The filing indicated that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the order and that the transaction does not fall within related party transactions. The company confirmed that it has furnished the disclosure in line with the mandatory obligations under the listing regulations.

The notice to the exchange was signed by the chairman and managing director and the company requested that the information be taken on record. The filing reiterated that the contract relates to manufacture and supply under the terms set out in the purchase order and that further updates would be made as required by the listing obligations. The company said it will execute the contract in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements. Stakeholders were informed through the official submission to the exchange.
