Eicher Trucks and Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles, has signed an MoU with Cityflo to deploy 2,000 premium Eicher buses over the next three years, strengthening premium intra-city mobility solutions across India.

Under the partnership, around 500 buses are planned for deployment in FY27. Eicher will offer a multi-fuel portfolio, including premium AC pushback buses, CNG buses and electric buses, aligned with evolving urban mobility needs.

The agreement includes models such as the Eicher Skyline Pro 3011 AC Pushback with rear air suspension in diesel and CNG variants. The collaboration will focus on high uptime, operational reliability, optimised total cost of ownership, strong service support and city-specific passenger solutions.

B Srinivas, MD & CEO, VECV, said the partnership combines Eicher’s advanced buses and service ecosystem with Cityflo’s commuter-first approach to deliver reliable, comfortable and sustainable daily travel. Cityflo Co-Founder & CBO Rishabh Shah said the partnership began in 2024 with the development of a 27-seater vehicle suited for city commutes.

The partnership also supports government efforts to encourage public transport, reduce congestion and promote cleaner mobility through CNG and gradual electric bus adoption.
