India, France expand space cooperation through private deals

India and France are strengthening space sector cooperation through private-sector partnerships and technology collaborations. During discussions between the two countries, agreements were signed between Indian and French space companies covering satellite systems, launch services and space applications. The collaboration aims to support commercial space activities, encourage innovation and expand opportunities for private players. The partnership builds on the long-standing cooperation between the Indian Space Research Organisation and French space agency CNES across satellite, launch and scientific missions.
