Kesar India Secures Rs One Point Six Billion EPC Contract From Zee

Kesar India has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract from Zee Enterprises valued at Rs one point six billion (Rs one point six bn), equivalent to Rs 160 crore. The award covers EPC works for specified broadcasting infrastructure and allied civil and electrical works, the company said in a statement. The contract represents a material addition to the firm’s current project portfolio and will be undertaken by its EPC division. The company indicated that mobilisation will commence in the near term and project execution will follow agreed timelines.

The firm, which operates in infrastructure and construction services, will deploy its engineering and project management teams to deliver the contract. Project obligations include design, procurement of equipment and materials, on-site construction and commissioning activities. The agreement is structured under terms standard to the sector with staged mobilisation and progress milestones tied to payments. Kesar India identified the contract as aligned with its strategic focus on medium and large scale EPC assignments.

The order strengthens the company’s order book and provides revenue visibility during the construction phase. Financial recognition will follow the company’s accounting policies for project contracts and progress billing under EPC arrangements. Management noted that execution risk will be mitigated through established vendor arrangements and project controls. The award also underscores continued demand from media and broadcast clients for turnkey infrastructure solutions.

The company will report further details, including timelines and segmental allocation, in its next corporate filing and investor communications. Analysts tracking the sector interpret such wins as supportive of steady revenue streams for specialised EPC contractors. Stakeholders will monitor execution and cash flow realisation as the project moves through its lifecycle. Kesar India retains responsibility for meeting contractual specifications and regulatory compliances during delivery.
