NBCC (India) Ltd is set to start construction of three educational institutions across Delhi, Hyderabad, and Odisha. These projects, collectively, will be worth Rs 646.5 million, with a hostel in Delhi’s Mandoli district being the most expensive, at Rs 296.5 million. The remaining expenses are for work at NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad (Rs 180 million), and Dhamnagar College in Bhadrak, Odisha (Rs 170 million).

These projects reflect NBCC’s increasing presence in educational infrastructure development, which is a departure from their traditional operations. These projects in particular, are of significance because they were all commissioned by the state governments, strengthening NBCC’s position in the public sector infrastructure development sector. 

In March, NBCC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MAHAPREIT, which is the Maharashtra government's Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd. The agreement is for the execution of various consultancy and redevelopment projects. This collaboration is expected to significantly boost NBCC's revenue, with projections reaching Rs 50 billion in the 2025-26 financial year. NBCC's 

Chairman and Managing Director, K P Mahadevaswamy, indicates that the company anticipates a stable financial performance for FY25, with EBITDA margins likely to be between 5.5 per cent and 6 per cent. Currently, NBCC (India) Ltd shares are trading at Rs 100.28, a slight decrease of 0.53 per cent compared to the previous closing price. Over the past year, the stock has increased by 13 per cent, and in the last month, it has risen by 17 per cent.
