ORSL Secures Third BPCL EPCOM Contract in a Week

Mumbai, September 8, 2026: Organic Recycling Systems Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary Solapur Bioenergy Systems Private Limited has secured an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to build an organic municipal solid waste based compressed biogas plant at Kozhikode, Kerala, valued at Rs 924.1 million (mn) inclusive of GST. It is the third EPCOM award from BPCL in one week, following wins in Mysuru and Raipur. The three contracts span three states and total Rs 2.5971 billion (bn).

Each contract carries a five year operations and maintenance mandate and together they represent 15 plant years of contracted operating revenue once commissioned. The portfolio confirms combined processing capacity of at least 14.8 t per day and supports ORSL's integrated model linking technology, project delivery and long term operations.

SBESPL will carry out the full EPC scope with mechanical completion targeted within 12 months and commissioning within 15 months of the Letter of Acceptance. A Performance Guarantee Test Run must be completed within three months of commissioning or within 18 months of the LOA, and SBESPL will provide comprehensive O&M for five years after commissioning.

The rapid sequence of awards signals BPCL's confidence and ORSL's capacity to execute concurrent projects. The company also renewed an O&M contract for its Gorakhpur plant with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, broadening its engagement with public sector oil marketing companies.

Organic Recycling Systems Limited was founded in 2008 and is listed on the BSE SME platform. The company holds two patents and five plus proprietary technologies and intends to transition to the BSE Main Board by October 2026. It operates an in house R and D centre and has R and D partnerships with IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur.
