Panasonic Ignition 3.0 Backs Red Health, Respirer Living Sciences

Panasonic Life Solutions India, along with Panasonic Corporation, has announced Red Health and Respirer Living Sciences as joint winners of the third edition of Panasonic Ignition, its accelerator programme focused on innovations shaping the future of residential living in India.

Anchored around the theme ‘Residential Business Challenges’, Ignition 3.0 spotlighted solutions across smart technologies, sustainability, wellness, connected devices and community-centric living. Red Health operates a technology-led emergency response platform covering ‘first minute to last mile’ services, while Respirer Living Sciences develops IoT-enabled energy recovery ventilators that ensure healthy indoor air without compromising energy efficiency.

The programme was organised in partnership with Beyond Next Ventures and received 113 applications from early- and mid-stage startups across India. Following a multi-stage evaluation, 11 startups were selected for a three-month cohort involving mentoring, masterclasses, business model refinement and technology validation with industry experts.

Commenting on the initiative, Tadashi Chiba, Managing Director & CEO, Panasonic Life Solutions India, said the programme reflects Panasonic’s commitment to co-creating meaningful innovations that improve quality of life and contribute to a more sustainable society.

Panasonic highlighted that insights from Ignition 3.0 will feed into future product development, strategic partnerships and market-ready solutions aligned with its long-term vision of safer, smarter and more energy-efficient homes.

Kunio Gohara, Chief Transformation Officer and Head of the CVC Office at Panasonic Corporation, noted that Ignition serves as a strategic investment pipeline, with India viewed as a key global innovation ecosystem for safety, wellness, energy and community living solutions.

In addition to the main winners, Panasonic also recognised ACCELERATE award recipients Ambiator, Biomoneta, Cantata and Kubo Care, which will collaborate with the company on pilot projects and explore mid-term strategic partnerships.

Over the past three years, Panasonic Ignition has engaged with more than 700 startups and partnered with over 46 ventures, evolving into a platform addressing large-scale challenges across safety, wellness, energy efficiency and residential infrastructure in India.
