Speciality Restaurants Reports Strong Q2 Growth in FY26
Consolidated Performance
The company recorded consolidated Total Income of Rs 1.1999 billion in Q2FY26, compared with Rs 1.0785 billion in Q2FY25, reflecting an increase of 11.26 per cent.
EBITDA grew to Rs 228.3 million from Rs 187.8 million, marking year-on-year growth of 21.57 per cent.
Profit After Tax rose to Rs 44.7 million in Q2FY26, compared with Rs 28.5 million last year. Total Comprehensive Income increased to Rs 47.7 million from Rs 40.1 million.
Standalone Performance
Standalone Total Income stood at Rs 1.1325 billion in Q2FY26, up 11.76 per cent from Rs 1.0133 billion in Q2FY25.
EBITDA increased to Rs 226.5 million from Rs 179.3 million, a rise of 26.33 per cent.
Profit After Tax stood at Rs 47.6 million, compared with Rs 25.2 million in the previous year. Total Comprehensive Income was Rs 48 million, up from Rs 26.2 million.
Management Commentary
Chairman and Managing Director Anjanmoy Chatterjee said the company achieved same-store sales growth of 1.39 per cent, supported by contributions from newly renovated and newly opened restaurants. He added that Speciality Restaurants continues to focus on profitable growth through operational efficiencies.
Chatterjee also highlighted that the launch of the Walters brand in the burger category has provided fresh momentum to the company’s presence in the quick-service restaurant segment.
The company maintains an optimistic outlook as it expands across formats and strengthens its portfolio of fine-dining and QSR offerings.
