SPML Infra Gets Rs 1.59 Billion Bond Limit, Wins Arbitration
Separately, SPML Infra secured an arbitration award of Rs 216.1 million in its favour from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board on 31 December 2025. The award is subject to the terms and conditions laid down under the arbitration proceedings.
In December 2025, the company had also won a Rs 2.07 billion project, inclusive of GST, from the Public Health Engineering Department, Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The contract was secured through a joint venture with Shree Hari Infraprojects Private Ltd and forms part of the Jal Jeevan Mission under the Nonera Water Supply Project. The project aims to strengthen drinking water infrastructure across the Kota and Bundi regions.
The scope of work includes construction and operational activities, followed by 10 years of operations and maintenance. Under Package-1, SPML Infra will execute, test and commission three intake wells and three water treatment plants with a combined capacity of 118 million litres per day. The project also involves three clear water reservoirs with a total capacity of 16.1 million litres and 52.6 km of pipelines ranging from 600 mm to 1,300 mm in diameter, supported by PLC and SCADA systems.
Once completed, the project is expected to provide functional household tap connections and clean drinking water to more than 1.03 million people.
Shares of SPML Infra ended at Rs 187.00 on the BSE on 2 January, down Rs 3.29, or 1.73 per cent, from the previous close.
