Tejas Networks Wins Golden Peacock Innovation Award

Tejas Networks has been declared winner of the Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award for its WavePlexus portfolio of radio access network products. The award is administered by the Institute of Directors and is recognised as a benchmark in corporate innovation and governance. The company was certified as meeting the rigorous standards of the Golden Peacock Excellence Model, reflecting its commitment to sustainability.\n\nThe award was adjudged by a jury chaired by Justice Uday U. Lalit, former Chief Justice of India, and comprised distinguished members from diverse fields. The selection process was managed by independent professional assessors under a transparent evaluation framework and the award is regarded as a badge of excellence internationally.\n\nThe WavePlexus portfolio is an indigenously designed, modular and energy efficient set of four G and five G radio and baseband products that include advanced 32TR and 64TR Massive MIMO solutions and comply with 3GPP and O RAN standards. The products are deployed at scale in carrier grade networks in India and internationally and are designed to deliver world class performance, lower power consumption and reduced total cost of ownership. Field trials and commercial rollouts have demonstrated operational resilience and interoperability with existing network ecosystems.\n\nTejas Networks said the recognition endorsed its research and development capabilities and its focus on high performance networking aligned with global standards. The company noted that the WavePlexus portfolio enables customers to deploy scalable, energy efficient and future proof wireless networks while lowering total cost of ownership. Tejas Networks designs and manufactures wireline and wireless networking products for service providers, utilities, defence and government entities in 75 countries and is part of the Tata Group, with Panatone Finvest Ltd the majority shareholder.
