GMR plans Rs.140 billion expansion of Hyderabad airport

GMR Hyderabad International Airport has announced a Rs.140 billion expansion plan for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by fiscal 2030–31, as per news reports. The upgrade includes a new terminal, second runway, enhanced road and metro access, and expanded cargo and parking facilities. Designed to accommodate rising passenger and cargo volumes, the plan follows traffic growth from 18.3 million in FY18 to 29.5 million.
