NIA, UPSRTC Partner To Launch Direct Bus Links Across UP

Noida International Airport (NIA) has entered a new partnership with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to introduce direct bus services linking the upcoming airport with major destinations across the state.

Announced on Thursday, 20 November, the agreement will offer passengers convenient connections to Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Vrindavan and Hathras. The extended network will also serve Bulandshahr, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Hapur, Moradabad and Shikohabad.

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, said the collaboration marks a key step in strengthening ground connectivity. “We are delighted to partner with UPSRTC to make travel to and from Noida International Airport even more convenient. Seamless ground connectivity is essential to delivering a superior passenger experience, and this partnership ensures that travellers can reach important cities and towns across Uttar Pradesh with ease. As we move closer to welcoming our first passengers, such initiatives reflect our commitment to accessibility, convenience and regional integration.”

The partnership adds to NIA’s growing transport network, which already includes agreements with Haryana Roadways, the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation and the Delhi Transport Corporation. Together, these arrangements will eventually connect the airport to more than 25 cities across four states.

When phase one of the airport becomes operational, NIA will function with a single terminal and runway capable of handling 12 million passengers annually. Once fully developed over four phases, the airport’s total capacity will rise to 70 million passengers, establishing it as a major aviation gateway for the region.
