Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority has invited bids for a proposed 74 km access-controlled expressway after the state cabinet approved an estimated investment of Rs 85.8551 billion (Rs 85,855.1 mn). The six-lane expressway with provision for expansion to eight lanes is expected to be completed within three years and will begin near the 24.8 km point of the Yamuna Expressway close to Film City in YEIDA Sector 21 and link to the Ganga Expressway near Syana in Bulandshahr. The project will cover 56 villages and aims to improve passenger and freight movement.

The road forms part of a broader pipeline that includes the Yamuna Pushta Elevated Road, the Chilla Elevated Road and the Faridabad-Jewar Greenfield Expressway. The convergence of Noida International Airport, Film City, New Noida and industrial initiatives is creating a multi-node corridor and improved connectivity should expand the catchment for residential, commercial and industrial development.

Industry executives said the airport and the road together could alter Greater Noida's growth trajectory by enhancing connectivity, attracting investment and accelerating business expansion while strengthening the commercial and residential ecosystem. They added the expressway would integrate the region, bolster passenger and freight movement, and create opportunities for logistics, warehousing and industrial development through links with NH-9 and other corridors.

Work will be carried out in two phases, the first covering around 24 km between Bhaipur Brahmanan in Greater Noida and Bichaula village in Bulandshahr and the second extending roughly 50 km from Bichaula to Bahanpur in the Syana area. The design includes seven underpasses, 11 minor bridges, three major bridges, one flyover and four railway overbridges plus service roads, drainage, fencing, CCTV surveillance and traffic management systems. If delivered on schedule, the convergence of aviation, road and industrial projects could see the Jewar–Greater Noida belt evolve beyond an airport-led zone into a diversified economic corridor supporting housing, offices, logistics and manufacturing.
