Pace Digitek Wins RailTel Order For Coach Surveillance
The scope of work includes a three-year initial warranty followed by a five-year comprehensive annual maintenance contract and the deployment of high-fidelity monitoring systems that adhere to RDSO/SPN/TC/106/2025 Version 3.1 specifications. The initiative has been framed to align with the Digital India vision and is being executed for a customer of RailTel. The project expands the company's footprint in mission-critical ICT and safety infrastructure for passenger rolling stock.
The chairman and managing director, Mr Maddisetty Venugopal Rao, said that securing the order marked entry into the railway rolling stock surveillance segment and reflected the company's increasing presence in mission-critical ICT deployments. He indicated that the work supported the strategic focus on digitally enabled public infrastructure and contributed to enhanced passenger safety within a smarter, more secure national transportation ecosystem. The statement emphasised the significance of the contract for Pace Digitek's sectoral diversification.
Following this award, Pace Digitek's total order book stands at Rs 103,319 mn, comprising Rs 25,527 mn in the Telecom & ICT segment and Rs 77,792 mn in the Energy segment. The firm traces its origins to 2007 and has developed capabilities across Energy and Telecom & ICT sectors, with a subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited, supporting expansion in renewable energy. The company intends to leverage its track record to contribute to a more efficient and digitally connected nation.
