Texmaco Rail Secures Rs 3571.1 Million Order From JSW Group

Texmaco Rail and Engineering Limited has received an order from JSW Group for the manufacture and supply of BLSS, BLCS and BFNV rakes along with BVCM wagons. The order has been placed by a domestic entity and is valued at Rs 3571.1 million (mn), excluding taxes. The contract specifies a term of 11 months from the effective date or commencement of works as applicable.

The transaction has been disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 and related circulars. The company has confirmed that the promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the order and that the order does not constitute a related party transaction. The company secretary filed the intimation with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited for regulatory record.

The order requires manufacture and supply of specified rakes and wagons and will entail coordination across production, quality assurance and logistics functions. Execution within the stipulated term will be material to near term manufacturing schedules and will engage assembly and delivery resources. The consideration and contractual timeline are expected to be integrated into the company's operational planning without altering the disclosed governance position. Testing, commissioning and compliance checks will form part of the delivery milestones and will require close liaison with customers for scheduling and acceptance.

The company has communicated the details for public and investor information and will proceed with implementation as per contractual terms and applicable compliances.
