Deere unveils three new cold planer attachments

01 Oct 2020

John Deere has launched three new high-flow cold planer attachments for skid steers and compact track loaders. They can be used for carrying out tasks like street repairs, leveling uneven pavement, texturing pavement and cleaning around larger milling sites. The new cold planer models are CP18E, CP24E and CP30E. They can be controlled from the cab. All three can plane down to a depth of half an inch and require hydraulic flow of 29 to 41 gallons per minute. The length of all the three models is 50 inches long, the width is 65 inches wide and the height is 35 inches. These attachments feature rear spoil clearance of nine inches that reportedly reduces recirculation of material. The wheel guard design of the planer prevents the wheels from riding up and over the millings, thus helping reduce rolling resistance and improving depth control.
