The Board of Directors of the Aurangabad Smart City has approved some vital Smart City projects that include smart roads, health, education and street and road transformation. The development of 111 roads worth Rs 317 crore will be taken up by the ASCDCL.
Three state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospitals and renovate public health centres in all nine zones of the AMC. The board approved setting up second and third skill development centres like City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) N-5, the illumination of Kranti Chowk flyover and the Shiv Srushti project. The board gave post-facto approval to the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) and Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the metro rail project.
