Shree Cement’s Quality Control Laboratory at its Raipur facility has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), a constituent of the Quality Council of India. This marks a key milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, precision, and technical excellence.
The accreditation, granted under ISO/IEC 17025 standards, confirms the lab’s technical competence in delivering accurate and reliable test results. It also affirms the lab’s compliance with internationally recognised testing protocols, ensuring global acceptance of its test reports through the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) overseen by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement Ltd., commented on the achievement, stating, “The NABL accreditation is a significant milestone in our pursuit of operational excellence and global standards. It reflects our dedication to precision, quality, and continuous improvement. This recognition not only reinforces stakeholder confidence but also highlights our efforts to build a future-ready, innovation-led organisation.”
The Raipur laboratory plays a vital role in maintaining consistency across various quality parameters that support the plant’s production standards. With this accreditation, it becomes part of an elite group of laboratories in India recognised for upholding global testing practices.
As NABL is a member of both the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), the certified reports issued by Shree Cement’s Raipur lab are now internationally acknowledged. This recognition further enhances Shree Cement’s reputation as a quality-centric, globally aligned enterprise.
