NTPC Invites Two-Year O&M Bids For 25 MW Floating Solar Plant
The selected contractor will be responsible for carrying out full operation and maintenance activities and for supplying all consumables, materials and other resources required for contract execution. These material costs must be included in the overall contract value so that the service provider manages the project without additional material-related charges to NTPC. The scope, as set out in the tender document, is comprehensive and includes routine and specialised maintenance tasks.
The bidding process follows a two-packet system in which technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately before award on the basis of total contract value. Interested parties must submit proposals by 24 August 2026 before four PM, with technical bids scheduled for opening at four thirty PM on the same day. All bids must remain valid for 120 days from the final date of submission.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 0.5 mn, which may be backed by the State Bank of India, while micro and small enterprises with valid Udyam registration are exempt except traders. The successful bidder must provide an electronic performance bank guarantee of five per cent of the total contract value, valid for 27 months, with State Bank of India as advisory bank. Payments will be made within 30 days of online invoice submission supported by a Service Delivery Acceptance Certificate and the tender includes an option to vary quantity, duration or scope by up to 25 per cent. Procurement follows the Make in India policy, with purchase preference for suppliers meeting a minimum local content requirement of 50 per cent and price preference for eligible MSEs of up to 15 per cent.
