UP to develop 15 MSME Industrial Zones across 11 districts

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the creation of 15 new industrial zones focused on boosting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Spread over 765 acres in 11 districts—including Aligarh, Kanpur Dehat, Prayagraj, and Rae Bareli— these zones will host 872 industrial plots with core infrastructure support. The initiative aims to generate employment, boost regional manufacturing, and contribute to the state’s $1-trillion economy vision. It will also promote women-led businesses and traditional clusters.
