GAIL unveils progress on Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline Project

GAIL (India) held a press conference in Jabalpur to provide updates on the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline project. The event was graced by key figures, including RK Jain, Director (Finance), Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing), Akhilesh Jain, Independent Director, and Prof Dr Ravikant Kolhe, Independent Director, who addressed both the media and stakeholders.

The ambitious project comprises three segments, encompassing vast geographical areas across Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Odisha. Spanning an impressive 1,755 km, the pipeline's construction is progressing at a rapid pace.

With a total cost of 11.03 billion, the pipeline is set to traverse three districts in Madhya Pradesh - Chhindwara, Seoni, and Jabalpur, promising numerous direct and indirect benefits to the city and the state as a whole.

Among the notable contributions of this project is the initiation of City Gas Distribution, a crucial development that will deliver clean and affordable Natural Gas to industries and households. By doing so, it will substantially reduce carbon emissions, aligning with the company's commitment to environmental sustainability.
